Women thriving in a corporate environment may seem like a non sequitur some days.
Nancy Chorpenning has been there. Having been an executive +25 years in Fortune 500 corporations like Time Warner as well as dotcom startups like WebMD, she was often the only woman, and ALWAYS one of a very few.
Then there is that age thing… If we’re over a certain age (29?), they either presume we can’t work if we might want a family or that we’re too old to understand technology, or something else that they won’t (can’t) mention in polite (legal) company.
